This is where City Barge runs a ferry from University College boat house to Boat House Island, offering a service to visitors who want to see the racing from the other bank or buy more Pimms. A chance to see the racing and raise money for Water Aid and City Barge. Piero will be organising the boat, and it’s helpful to have at least two people on each bank to help visitors in/out of the boats and collect the money. Come for the day or a morning or afternoon session.

Please say if you are able to help launch the Shallop, and would like to try sit down rowing. Please also say if you’ll be there for lunch.

We’ve been invited to take our sandolos to join in a Venetian-themed garden party at St Hilda’s College on Sunday, 23 June, 2.30-5.00pm. Ideally we’d like to have four sandolos with four poppieri and four provini. We’ll be giving rides to people in the boats.
We hope it will stimulate interest in the club.

Day 1 takes us to Sutton Courtney for supper at the Fish. A nice gentle 61/2 miles. I’ll drive us back to Oxford.

Stating from the Fish at Sutton Courtney and rowing the 20 miles with 6 locks to the Swan at Streatley, where you can stay over with a fabulous breakfast! Lunch at Benson.
